2ND OCTOBER
Without the trouble of using an oven, an air fryer turkey breast is the ideal way to experience juicy, succulent turkey with a crispy outside.
Compared to using an oven, cleaning up after an air fryer is far simpler.
– 1 boneless turkey breast (about 2 to 3 pounds) – 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter – 1 teaspoon garlic powder – 1 teaspoon onion powder – 1 teaspoon dried thyme – 1 teaspoon paprika – Salt and pepper to taste – Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
Apply melted butter or olive oil all over the turkey breast. This improves the skin's crispy texture and helps the seasonings stay. It also adds flavor.
Combine the paprika, thyme, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt & pepper in a small bowl. Make sure to coat the whole surface of the turkey breast by generously rubbing it with the spice mixture.
– Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes to ensure even cooking.
Skin-side up, put the seasoned turkey breast in the air fryer basket.
Halfway through cooking, turn the turkey to ensure uniform browning.
Check the interior temperature with a meat thermometer; it should be 165°F (74°C).
After the turkey is done, take it out of the air fryer and give it ten minutes or so to rest before slicing.
The turkey becomes more soft and flavorful while it is rested, allowing the liquids to redistribute.
Make sure the internal temperature of your beef reaches 165°F by using a meat thermometer to prevent overcooking.
After cooking, it's imperative to rest the turkey to preserve the meat's tenderness and juicy texture.
